Aaron Campbell

Aaron has more than fourteen years of web development experience, has been a regular contributor to WordPress for the last seven years, and co-lead the WordPress 3.6 release. He has experience writing quality code that is both fast and scalable, and has a knack for translating ideas and goals into functional sites. He’s been called both a coffee snob and a beer snob, but considers both to be complements. When he’s not buried in code, Aaron can often be found spending time with his family, attending or hosting beer tastings, or brewing his own beer.

Andrew Taylor

Andrew started off his tech career in computer hardware but after building the company website he quickly got hooked on coding and never looked back. Outside of WordPress Andrew enjoys mountain biking, homebrewing beer, racquetball, fishing, and hiking. You can find code snippets and the occasional blog post on his personal site, ataylor.me. Bill Sullivan

Bill Sullivan has been working with PHP, WordPress, and the web for over ten years. He and his wife Kari own Big Shiba, LLC, a small software business in Austin, TX. He is also a Zend Certified PHP 5.5 Engineer and is an active open source contributor. His favorite part of going to WordCamp is meeting new people, so please don’t hesitate to walk up and introduce yourself. Chris Wallace

As a founder and Principal Creative at Lift, a user experience design company, Chris helps lead a team of designers, developers, and project managers building commercial WordPress products and client projects. He leads product development for UpThemes and recently acquired ChurchThemes.net. Chris is a Christian, cancer survivor, family man, and Starbucks lover.

In its fifth year of business, Lift has built award-winning, Emmy-nominated second screen apps for AMC Networks’ Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead Story Sync and has designed websites and WordPress-powered apps for Sundance Channel, IFC, Frito-Lay, eBay, The Next Web, and more.

Chris Wiegman

Chris is the developer of iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security) and has been working on WordPress security for over 5 years. Previously a captain for a small airline Chris’ interest in security began on his first day as an employed pilot, 9/11 and gradually evolved over the years to helping individuals and smaller organizations protect their websites from many of the common methods attackers use to compromise their victims. When not coding Chris loves to teach and has taught computer security for St. Edward’s University as well as other courses ranging from computers to aviation.

Christoph Trappe

Christoph’s career has focused on helping organizations tell their stories in authentic and meaningful ways. He uses and teaches brand and traditional journalism as well as content marketing techniques in the pursuit of great stories. He shares tips on authentic storytelling on his blog at AuthenticStorytelling.net, offers fitness tips at MyFitnessTips.org and helps with his six-year-old’s blog at KidsandTech.net.

Clara Matthews

Owner of Clarabela Media, Clara provides website copywriting, newsletter and blogging services. I specialize in hyperlocal businesses, with a focus on restaurants, retail and real estate.

Corrin Foster

Corrin Foster is an Austin-based lifestyle blogger with over 10 years experience partnering with major brands, working with ad networks, and remembering that blogging is supposed to be fun. She speaks regularly about brand partnerships, community engagement, and beating blogger burnout. During the day, Corrin works in publishing, helping indie authors with brand and social media strategy and book marketing. Her spirit animal is the gummi bear and her dog has his own hashtag. Cory Miller is a former newspaper journalist turned full-time entrepreneur. In 2008, he started iThemes, which builds web design software and offers cutting-edge web design training for thousands of customers around the globe.

Named the 7th fastest growing company in Oklahoma City in 2011 by the Metro 50, iThemes employs over 20 people around the globe with headquarters in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Daniel Espinoza

I’m a digital tentmaker and web developer currently living in San Antonio, Texas. I build commercial and custom WordPress plugins focusing on ecommerce with WooCommerce at Grow Development and blog at daniel.gd.

Dorian Speed

Dorian Speed stumbled into working with WordPress via blogging and hasn’t looked back. She now develops websites for small businesses, organizations, and writers, and primarily uses the Genesis framework. She enjoys the challenge of learning new things and loves that the WordPress community makes it easy to do so.

A former teacher, she is passionate about education. She currently homeschools her three children, coaches a MATHCOUNTS team, and volunteers for a ridiculous number of things, which is why you should be skeptical if she starts talking about time management.

Jaymes Downer

Jaymes is the Lead Developer at The Infinite Agency in Dallas, TX. He specializes in Front-End Development and is passionate about delivering the best web experience to his users on all devices. Jaymes also leads the Zurb Foundation DFW meetup group.

Jon Bellah

Jon is a Web Engineer at 10up. He is passionate about high performance websites, responsive design, WordPress, and oxford commas. When he isn’t obsessing over code, Jon enjoys cycling, beer league hockey, and plotting world domination.

Kari Sullivan

Kari owns a small entertainment software company in Austin, TX and has been making and marketing digital products for almost twenty years. Kirk Bowman

Kirk Bowman is a life-long entrepreneur, spending only one year as an employee since college. After five years as a saxophonist, he founded MightyData.com to help growing businesses scale with custom software. Marc Gratch

Marc is a WordPress Consultant, a student at UT Arlington, a husband and father-to-be. He is a theme and plugin developer who focuses on simple, specific niche functionality. Marc has been using WordPress since 2.8 (give or take a point release,) and spends his free time renovating their new home, wrangling dogs, playing with computational math problems, and he considers himself and amateur physicist.

Marjorie Asturias

Marjorie R. Asturias is a Happiness Engineer at Automattic. Patrick spends most of his work day slicing and dicing code to improve WooCommerce. He also loves coding up plugins for Ninja Forms and making it the best form plugin out there. He just moved to Denver and loves being outside, running, and practicing yoga. When he has free time he’s working on a book about e-commerce.

Paul Clark

Paul is a TEDx speaker, WordPress core contributor, and Director of Recruiting at 10up.com, which is home to 30 Core Contributors and the project lead for WordPress 4.0.

He has created intuitive and scalable solutions for clients including TED.com, The Wall Street Journal, and Automattic’s WordPress.com VIP platform.
