We&#8217;ll continue to add more to this page, but here&#8217;s some starter info:<\/p>\n<h2>Quick Dictionary<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>DFW = Dallas\/Fort Worth<\/li>\n<li>The Metroplex = DFW<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Venue<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Tarrant Community College &#8211; South Campus<\/strong> (Rotunda Building)<br \/>\n5301 Campus Drive<br \/>\nFort Worth, TX 76119<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"googlemaps\">\n\t\t\t\t<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" marginheight=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d3358.661740605102!2d-97.28848771031187!3d32.66844447443398!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x864e6fc1a41fe3a3:0xe249e76183b128f9!2s5301%20Campus%20Dr,%20Fort%20Worth,%20TX%2076119!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sus!4v1407420088671\"><\/iframe>\n\t\t\t<\/div><br \/>\n<em><br \/>\n* Note for out-of-towners: There are several Tarrant County College locations around the metroplex &#8211; we&#8217;re meeting at the South Campus.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Airports<\/h2>\n<p>There are two main airports in the DFW area:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dallas\/Fort Worth airport<\/strong> (DFW) &#8211; this airport is huge and likely to have the best flight options. It&#8217;s also a hub for American Airlines.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dallas Love Field<\/strong> (DAL) &#8211; this is a hub for Southwest Airlines, so if you can fly Southwest, you might get a better price flying in here. Slightly less convenient location, but the metroplex is huge, so what&#8217;s 10 more miles? \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can rent a car easily enough from either airport. Due to the size of area and lack of great public transit options, renting a car (or riding with a friend) is the best way to go.<\/p>\n<h2>Hotels<\/h2>\n<p>The WordCamp venue is located in Fort Worth, about 30 minutes from the airport. We recommend staying near downtown Fort Worth or the University area. Note: This weekend is a home game for TCU\/OU so book your accommodations sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Hotels-g55857-Fort_Worth_Texas-Hotels.html\" target=\"_blank\">TripAdvisor<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.airbnb.com\/s\/Fort-Worth--TX\" target=\"_blank\">Fort Worth airbnb<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Below are some tips for those of you joining us from out of town.
