    Aaron is an international speaker, open source advocate, and outgoing introvert. He’s been a regular contributor to WordPress for more than a decade, and is currently employed by GoDaddy as the head of WordPress core and ecosystem.

    AJ Morris is the Product Innovation and Marketing Manager for iThemes, a WordPress plugin and training company that helps businesses, bloggers, and freelancers protect their investments in their sites. He spends most of his time helping store or site builders solve challenging problems through online education and consulting with businesses build digital storefronts.

  • Alex Juchniewicz

    Alex is a California native who now lives in Houston, TX with his family. Having worked with WordPress since 2010, he has had the opportunity to work for some of the top WordPress companies in the community such as Pagely, Pantheon, Valet (formerly WP Valet), cPanel, and SkyVerge, where he grew personally and professionally dealing with support, processes, partnerships, and site development. He currently works at LyntonWeb, a WordPress and Diamond level HuBspot agency partner, as a Project Manager. He is also on the partnerships team at WP&UP where he talks to companies about the mission of supporting & promoting positive mental health within the WordPress community. He’s always had a passion for other people, relationships, and being open about his story dealing with mental health and how he has navigated it.      Brent Jett is a designer and developer in Plano, Tx and the Design Lead at Beaver Builder. He has a cute beagle and loves filling the web with pictures of him. Brent loves working on tools for creating things on the open web and helping web creatives do their work better.

    Bridget Willard is a marketing consultant who brings her teaching and accounting background together to help small businesses. She began her marketing career in construction, then worked in franchise development, nonprofits, and tech. She is especially known for her brand building for Riggins Construction, GiveWP, and the Make WordPress Marketing Team.

  • Deepti Boddapati

    Deepti is a self taught developer who caught the coding bug when she worked on building websites with WordPress at an online marketing firm. Since then she has gone on to freelance for large and small companies such as WPEngine, and work at agencies like Crowd Favorite. Now, she works as a WordPress developer at Indeed. Outside of work, Deepti is active in the WordPress community. She has given talks at WordCamp and in her local WordPress community in Austin. When she’s not passionately working on WordPress, she bird watches, watches anime, studies music, and writes poetry.

    I’m inspired by the vision and intricacies of internet marketing and motivated by creating great content that is effective in opening the doors for engagement. At the beginning of 2015, I decided to venture off on my own after working for agencies for 5+ years. I grew tired of the “quantity-over-quality” method of thinking and started The Montgomery Group. TMG focuses on “digital brand advancement”. We pride ourselves in actually taking the time to learn about a customer’s company and provide them with whatever tools we feel will help them reach their goals quickly and effectively. I embrace challenges, take educated risks, and learn from failures.

    Elisha and Elyssa are homeschooled 16 and 15 year-old sisters, best-selling authors, artists, entrepreneurs, and public speakers. They live in Fort Worth with their mom and sisters Eliana and Elydia. They wrote I Love ME! at ages nine and ten, because they love helping other kids become bully-proof, love themselves, and be the best they can be. They teach children and teens to love themselves and have self-confidence through their books, blog posts, and artistic expressions.

    Keisha (Pittman) McKinney lives in South Arkansas with her husband and sweet Boxer, Bailey and her new little man! Keisha is passionate about connecting people and building community, seeking solutions to the everyday big and small things, and encouraging others through the mundane, hard, and typical that life often brings. She put her communications background to work as a former Non-profit Executive Director, college recruiter and fundraiser, and Digital Media Director at a large church in Northwest Arkansas. Now she is using all of those experiences as Founder of Arkansas Influencers, a social media marketing talent agency, McKinney Media Solutions and her blog @bigpittstop which includes daily adventures, cooking escapades, #bigsisterchats, the social justice cases on her heart, and all that she is learning as a #boymom!

    I am a wife and mother of 3 living in Louisiana. I started in WordPress writing plugin documentation and doing support for WPMUDEV. I had the great fortune to help roll out the original WordPress maintenance company nearly a decade ago. Since then I’ve been helping in the day to day operations of Valet, formerly WP Valet, covering everything from support to HR to my current role as CEO. I am a certified Yoga Teacher and enjoy learning about ways we can better understand and balance ourselves.

  • Mike Demo

    Former MousePlanet MouseStation Podcast co-host Mike “Demo” Demopoulos is a lover of open source first, specific tools later. Because of this, he speaks at Ignite! Conferences, Meetups, WordCamps, Joomla! Events, and more. Mike volunteers with The Joomla! Project as the former treasurer of Open Source Matters (the not for profit organization for Joomla!) as well as serving on the Joomla! board. Mike Demopoulos has spoken on various open source topics including WordPress and Joomla! in addition to marketing-related talks which include A/B testing content. Before coming to BoldGrid as a community evangelist, Mike spent years building a strong client base in the financial and insurance industries. He believes in sharing his business acumen and marketing insight as it fits within his main goal of building a community. When he’s not spending time with his wife Kayla, you may find Demo at a Disney Theme park, collecting artwork, or hanging out with his dog B’Elanna.

  • Nathan Allotey

    Nathan is a web designer and digital marketing strategist based in Houston, TX. He first started working with WordPress in 2009 after taking a position at one of the leading web hosting companies. Since that time he founded inPhocus Media, an independent web design studio that uses WordPress as a part of their digital marketing strategy.

    Nathan holds an MBA from the University of Houston and has been freelancing for 10 years. 

    Nathan is the author of Freelance Jumpstart, a clear step by step guide to the business of freelancing for creative entrepreneurs. You can find Nathan teaching on business, creativity and marketing on YouTube as well as the Freelance Jumpstart Podcast.

  • Nathan Blair

    Nathan is a Web Developer on the Marketing team at Indeed. Before learning to code, Nathan spent years building a successful freelance career as a Cinematographer in New York City. He went from scraping the bottom of Craigslist for the oddest of odd jobs to being on set with celebrities like Kate McKinnon and Stephen Baldwin. Over the years, he was gradually drawn toward web development, and this eventually became his passion when he developed custom WordPress themes for actors. After moving to Austin in 2015, Nathan fully committed to the tech industry. He worked for the tech startup, Givepulse, for two years and helped them to double their active users. He did contract work for a large energy consultancy named 5, building custom analytics software that shaved hours off their work every week. He also took on freelance consulting work with renowned Austin architect and UT professor, Larry Speck, helping him to redesign his website for modern best practices. Nathan loves bringing ideas to life with cutting edge technology. Outside work he also loves photography, gardening and travel.

    Toyin is a longtime web developer and software architect based in Austin, Texas. He has worked on an assorted array of commerce packages and teaches the basics of ecomm at the WooCommerce meetup in Austin. Toyin primarily develops for Magento and has worked on ecommerce site for large retailers like Balfour, Kendra Scott and Canon USA. In his non-work time, Toyin tinkers with what he calls his greatest project, daughter Annika.
